Hello everyone! I work at a lovely small, women owned business that caters to very trendy women. I’ve noticed some ladies will come in from out of town, usually in a big group, and just be SUPER loud. Like picking up all of the clothes and merchandise, screaming to their friends about it or laughing about it. Trying a bunch of stuff on, just right there over their clothes. It’s all very complimentary,like “OMG THIS IS SOOO YOU!” But also super obnoxious. They never buy anything, they just leave without saying thank you. It’s almost patronizing. Is this rude? Personally, I’m usually very respectful, quiet, and careful with the merchandise when I’m in someone’s small store. But I’m not sure if this is the norm, or just something I do. What do yall think? Is the behavior above super common, and fine? Or do other people find it rude?
