My company had 2 big projects with a big fortune 500 client over a month ago. We had to hire contractors on a project basis to complete the project. It was in their contract the payment was net30. As we were approaching 30 days I told my contractor we still haven’t received payment but assure them they are 100% being paid as soon as I get paid.

Now it’s 2 weeks later and the contractors are breathing down my neck bugging me. Im bugging my client as well asking for updates, they say “we’re checking you should get paid soon”

I feel terrible not paying when promised. We’ve already fronted alot of money to complete this project. Should I go ahead and pay them out of pocket?
