Me: Sorry, but I can no longer take this order as the box that you wanted the cakes in won’t arrive in time. Delivery takes 3 days so I planned to place the order yesterday but I didn’t know if you still wanted the cake since you hadn’t paid the deposit.
Customer: Is there any other box you can put in into? Customer: I’m just at work wasn’t sure how much deposit you needed
Me: Apologies, but I have made other plans now Me: I did mention 50%
Customer: Right well before making other plans you should have said that when I made an enquiry Customer: because now youve just wasted my time when I could’ve just enquired elsewhere
Me: Sorry but you messaged me last week on Sunday, it is now Tuesday. I’m not going to put everything on hold if you aren’t able to reply and make the deposit. I have taken 3 other orders in that time. I take priority over confirmed orders who have paid the deposit.
