Not really sure how to handle the situation

She’s told me outright that he wants her to quit.

“She” sent me an email last night saying she’s putting in her two weeks notice (didn’t read like the way she usually types, so i had my doubts right away), then she slacked me 3 hours later saying she isn’t quitting.

She’s been working for me for 2 years and i regularly raise her salary, she manages like 1/4 of my company and a decent amount of her own assistants, so i’m pretty sure she likes her job

I’m gono talk to her after labor day, but honestly just don’t know what to do here.

On the one hand, she is very valuable to me and i’d like to keep her, on the other hand if there’s someone in her life that has that much control over her and wants her to leave, it makes her a potential liability.
