I understand that partnerships can work out and there’s obviously plenty of situations where people go into business with a friend or a family member and thrive

It seems like there’s a lot of people on this forum who have had problems with with the business partner

And I guess if I’m thinking about my experiences, I’ve known some people that have gone into business with others and the vast majority of the time things don’t work out like they might have wanted. of course our examples were things worked out well and I think that’s when each partner upfront had clearly defined roles and they were realistic about compensation for those and also had the same vision

It Probably works better if you’re buying a piece of real estate or something along those lines
