Sometimes… enough is enough
Had a customer chew us out before he ordered the wrong item (AGAIN). He’s ordered a handful of items from us over the years and always emails to ask for a “bulk” discount (even tho he barely orders over our $50 free shipping minimum).
He ordered the wrong items and chewed out the shipping manager and then emailed me directly with the emails he’d sent to her and I said “look, I don’t think we’re a good fit for you. Please check out these other companies” and listed a couple places that I think are good.
He emailed me back, “I expected no less from you.” And I didn’t respond to that.
I’m thinking I’ll just cancel any future orders from him moving forward, though I doubt he will order from us again.
At some point, you gotta fire the customer.
