I went to get a car wash today, the average ticket was $28.
But one thing I noticed is I counted 21 workers. Between prep and dry off people. Say they are making $15 an hour. That’s a payroll of $2,500-2,800 a day. Plus water, electrical, rent insurance etc, these car washes must have a break even of $4k a day. Or 142 cars is a break even? Seems fairly tight, but what am I missing here?
Simple curiosity here.
