Hello CEO’s entrepreneurs!

I am looking for some advice on how to get my first few customers to launch my startup.

I have created an online rental marketplace where users can add their rental items as listings and rent items from others. I would make money but taking a commission off each sale.

My strategy to generate some listings at the start was to reach out to people on facebook marketplace who are currently renting their items and offering them to rent it at my platform at 0% commission rate. However, every person I have reached out to has either ignored the message or just outright said no.

Now, I would like advice on how to approach potential customers on facebook marketplace or other platforms. Any help would be appreciated!
