About a month ago I posted on here about this – thought it was over.
But actually at the time that I was posting and getting all this reddit therapy, the client did actually give me a bad review! I just didn’t see it because it was on a review platform we are not involved with at all (even though it’s a very popular platform).
Anyway I am so upset!!! They gave us 1 star! They said the food was great but we didn’t give them leftovers OR offer to refund them.
OP Summary: We literally paid for their rentals as a gift bc they said they were on a tight budget and my husband (our chef) cannot bear for his favorite special menu items to be served on disposables, they left no tip, we stayed past our scheduled time. We also brought extra food, so technically there were no “leftovers.” Anything that they thought was leftover is “property of the caterer” as stated in our contract.
Now what?????
