I have been using Coyote Logistics for years and this is the first time it happened. I bought a pallet of used goods for my business for $1600. Coyote logistics scheduled shipment with AAA Cooper Transportation, they picked up but never delivered my pallet. Now Coyote offers to pay $37 (Based on the carrier’s tariff, the max carrier liability for items other than new is $.10 per pound. Liability Amount: $.10/lb x 370 lbs = $37.00)
$1600 is not a huge chunk of money thankfully, but receiving only $37 is awful. Now, no one is responsible. What should I do?
