I’m sorry of this is a stupid question as I am the sole employee for my business.
I have a couple buddies who own a couple businesses where they rely on teenagers or foreign workers. They always complain about payroll and how they couldn’t afford to run the business if they paid people more.
I guess my question is why is this ok? I mean it kind of seems like it should be factored into the cost of doing business. If your entire business hinges on paying people minimum wage than can you really say that’s a successful model? I don’t know maybe you can shed more light on it for me.
