As per title. How do you feel about it? I get the whole “working for myself/no boss” etc. but do the pros outweigh the cons? And I’m specifically speaking to the business owners that are essentially “stuck” running their own business.

While they work for themselves, it has resulted in less freedom and flexibility than they had when employed.

I’m at a crossroads. I’ve been offered a buyout from a competitor to sell to them and work for them with flexible hours.

I’m one of those people that “bought a job”. While owning my business when things are going well is one of the greatest things ever, but it has severely limited my flexibility with own my personal life.

I’m torn as to what to do. Continue being my own boss at the expense of carrying the business on my shoulders, or sell out for a more “flexible” lifestyle?
