I recently learned that the gas lines to my store were crossed with the neighboring restaurant, and the energy company confirmed that the restaurant has been tapped into my gas lines. My landlord is working with the energy company to resolve this.
Since my lease is ending and I’m moving to a new location, I’m concerned that notifying my landlord may affect their willingness to help adjust the bill. I fear they may charge me the full amount once I move out.
I would appreciate any advice on how to i should go about this. Thank you!
