Hi everyone, I run a small business and short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts has been one of the hardest things for me to stay consistent with. Not filming part as that part’s manageable for me to get done. It’s the constantly trying to figure out what to film without repeating myself or overthinking every post.

Some weeks I’m on a roll posting so many consistently and other weeks I completely stall because I don’t know what angle to take.

I’ve tried to explore a few idea web tools like ClipSell, TrendTok, and VidIQ, mostly to help me generate ready-to-film concepts based on what I’m selling. The idea of having prompts or structured angles to making filming easier sounds helpful, but I’m still testing whether it will actually improve my consistency long-term or fade away again.

I would like to know how other small business owners here handle the inconsistencies, do you just batch content ideas monthly? or you just follow trends manually? Tried to use any tools for content ideation? Or you just rely purely on your own instincts?
