Two sections of my office were absorbed by two adjacent offices at some point. I asked the broker if he was sure the office was 1700 sf after the parts got absorbed. He said yes they calculated without the other parts of the office.
If the 450 sf is common area and they just didn’t list it in the lease as that, am I legally responsible now for anyone that gets hurt out there? What about the parts of the office that got absorbed? Or their lease wasn’t changed to accommodate the extra sf they received am I responsible for what happens there?
I probably would have still rented it at this price but feel duped that the price per SF was not as advertised.
If anything my CAM is based on SF so that should go down right?
