We recently took over a small business with a 3.9 Star on Yelp and want to boost the business to at least a solid 4 Star or higher and bring in more customers. They gave us a $300 offer and we are considering trying them out. After doing some research, we saw many bad experiences with businesses that stopped using their paid marketing. Their Stars dropped and more negative reviews were pushed to the top and good reviews were pushed down under the default “Yelp Sort”. The current reviews shown on the default “Yelp Sort” we have right now are good and are afraid that after we stop using Yelp Ads, more negative reviews will be pushed up on the page. What are some of the good/bad experiences with Yelp Ads that people have had? Is it worth the investment or at least use up their $300 offer? Did they see an increase in sales after using Yelp Ads?
