I own two small cafes and I’ve been in business for one year. The businesses have a built in customer base as we took over for previous owners who had been in business for a long time in our small town.
Credit cards are maxed out, and we’re constantly hovering at 2k in the checking account. This week we dipped below and could barely pay employees.
We’ve cut expenses where we can. Cut staffing. And are closing earlier on days where business tends to be slower. Negotiated to lessen our loan payment for now.
I’m on edge everyday depending on decent cash flow. TBH I’m constantly crying.
What else can I do?
EDIT: too many responses too fast. Need to read and respond.
