I am starting my 18th year in my small business, and this is the hardest time. I have five retail stores, last year we did $7.8M. Already in the 1st 6 weeks we’re down $85K to LY. I am really scared.
Sales have halted. I have 50 employees. I can’t imagine laying off people….everyone is maxed out…every position is important. I can’t take on more debt. I am in 10-year leases. I am not sleeping, and I feel a sense of impending doom. Anyone else is out there nervous about our economy? Any words of encouragement would be helpful.
