I’m 37 years old and have always had ADHD, but I learned to manage and cope with it over time. Since 2017, I’ve been running a business with around 20 employees, and I’m constantly busy. Recently, I felt extremely overwhelmed and decided to seek help by making an appointment with a doctor. After several tests and interviews, my ADHD diagnosis was confirmed, and I was prescribed a low dose of Adderall. The difference feels like night and day I’m much more focused now. However, I also feel some shame about relying on medication. Are there any other business owners here who use Adderall or similar medications? I consider my business successful, with its ups and downs, and I tackle problems as they arise, maintain good sales, and experiment with new ideas. I’d love to hear your experiences.
