How do you respond to someone who asks if your small business can donate to their sick relative? This person has emailed and I can’t find them nor their relative on our customer list. Their email stated that they are reaching out to local businesses to make a gift basket for their relative to use before or after their cancer treatment. I feel for them, however I sell a lot of products to people who buy gifts exactly for that reason, I will be out of business if I start giving them away. Suggestions?
