My monthly operating costs are around $2,300 and I am the sole-owner/operator. Here are my top 4 lessons learned as I have surpassed $100k in revenue:
One step at a time. If I knew how many obstacles I’d face, I would be overwhelmed. My advice is to focus on the tasks at hand and execute well/timely.
Be intentional and kind. Being kind and prioritizing my guest’s experience over profit has gone a long way. I also have asked for Google reviews from nearly all my guests and have over 500 five-star reviews!! Woo!
Automate as much as possible. I have done as much as I can to automate the process from booking guests to monthly bills, etc.
Set goals and reward yourself. An initial goal was to receive 25 reviews, then 50, then 100, etc. I would go out with my gf and treat ourselves to a yummy dinner or etc.
I hope this inspires you. It takes lots of work but take one day at a time!
