​Small biz owners – how has your traffic and sales been and what industry are you in?

Trying to get a better idea of the economic landscape out there in comparison to my own. I run bridal stores in the southwest region (AZ, Nevada, Texas, Colorado) and we’re experiencing a major decline in traffic. To give some context…After tons of growth from 2011 – 2022, our sales 2022 vs 2023 were relatively flat and when 2024 started we were forecasting flat sales again. But our traffic has really declined in the past 2 months and we’re worried the consumer has run out of money. Curious what the rest of you are seeing and if you don’t mind sharing what industry and region you are in I think this could be helpful to see how the climate is looking across the country (only curious about USA at the moment)
