This is my first post here cause I really need help. There’s a customer at my workplace that always pisses on the floor whenever he has an appointment. When talking to him, he seems like a regular guy. He has normal conversations and always pays for his services. But for some reason, he always pisses on the floor. I work at a small business salon so there is no janitorial staff—I do most of the cleaning. I just do not feel like I am paid enough, nor feel safe, cleaning someone’s piss off the floor every time!!😭😭 It is not in my job description and it’s unfair that just because his stylist feels bad calling him out on it that I should have to clean up his piss!!! I’ve addressed this issue with the owners and they are unsure what they can do about it, as they don’t want to get in trouble with the ADA in case he has a disability. But I’m sorry, if you’re aware you can’t pee in the bowl, you should find some solution to urinate appropriately like sitting down. It feels like a health hazard. I’m only a receptionist so I’m not sure what to do, especially if the owners are not planning on doing anything about it. WHAT DO I DO??? Will the business be protected if I ask him confidentially to stop pissing on the floor? I’ve seen some suggestions to put an “out of order” sign on the bathroom and lock it, but we only have one stall and there’s other customers🥲 I need someone who knows about ADA rules to help me out pls
