Using a throw-away account for anon reason. I have left a message for my lawyer, but still want to see if there is any help here.

I own a company with 20+ employees. We have hired this new office person – lets call her Sue. She interviewed reasonably well, but shortly after we hired her we saw some issues. First major blow-up happened when one of the other employee ignored her. She blew up, yelling and screaming.. did not calm down until the end of the day.

We set down with her and let her know this is not acceptable and moved on.

Next blow out happened when one other employee criticized her.. this was nothing big, but she made a big scene, including accusing him of harassment. We consulted a lawyer, investigated and found nothing of the sort.

Now we did a 90 days evaluation for her, set some goals and one of the items we discussed is that we see she spends a lot of her time on the phone when work needs to be done. She saw this and exploded again. Left the office, texted something about “not being safe”..

Lawyer cautioned before because she brought forward “harassment claim” and she is a “protected category” to trend lightly..

Sorry for a long rambling post.. but i feel like i’m living in an alternative universe and would appriciate some help
