​whats the best legal way to give someone a thank you gift for referring you business

have a colleague who has, via referral, given me a substantial amount of business. I think I am not allowed to give him more than a $25 gift, but I would really like to give him something on the order of an expenses-paid trip to Hawaii. What options exist (legally) for my business to pay for this?
