Small vent, I’m due in August but lots of signs labor is any day. My husband has been communicating this closely with his customer he has for some work, their current project is extending a retaining wall, my husband just started subcontracting.

My husband was speaking with the customer about how he’s glad to be fairly close by incase I go into labor. This 75 year old guy told my husband him and his wife understood if he leaves a half day early if I go into labor and then start back up the next day… ?

They want my husband to finish the work which is understandable but we already have a wonderful contractor to pick up anytime I go into labor and my husband has to take off, customer is aware of this. My husband was going to work off and on but really not often, this was his last job until after the baby.

Why would you expect someone to come back the next day after they have a newborn??? Absolutely ridiculous!
