This is just out of curiosity.

We are currently bringing in 100K worth of inventory from suppliers into our warehouse per month

We have NET30 terms with our supplier.

Recently, our supplier launched a partner portal where we can pay via an online checkout link (credits cards, debit, etc.)

Given that payment processors take 3%, I asked the supplier if we can get that margin and pay via ACH. They rejected and said that we can’t as it’s unfair to the rest of people purchasing on the same tier. Fair enough.

Well now that they are accepting credit cards, I’d love to take advantage of my 3% Business Credit card.

The problem? Our company is so new and our monthly credit card is literally $1,000. Yes that’s right. The owners didn’t have credit history so we haven’t built that.

Is there any change / way to somehow get a business credit card with a near to 100K limit?

If not possible, is there a similar way to achieve similar results?

For a 3% cashback card, that’s $3,000 in basically free money every month when paying for inventory

EDIT: Sorry the credit card is actually 2% on some purchases then 1% unlimited. Apologies didn’t mean to excite people :/

EDIT 2: We currently pay our vendor via ACH/Wire on a NET30 terms. Paying cash. Is there any way to leverage the NET30 as a “form of credit” to show banks we are trustworthy? Something using a DUNS number ?

EDIT 3: Sounds like “charge cards” may be the way to go. We can pay in full every month. Are there any that can consider business rev & profit but not personal credit? That’s where we get screwed
