My dad passed away two months ago and he left me a small autoshop that has 7-8 workers. I’m 20 yo still continuing my degree and have literally no idea about this autoshop or businesses in general. All I know is I have to keep running it, so I can take care of my mom.
How should I approach it when I don’t even know what exactly they are doing there? I thought it would be a great idea to meet with everyone, then maybe nearby owners?
Yet, I know this is not enough. I need to learn where they get the goods, to whom they sell, what kind of processes there are.
I need to learn and learn fast. What would you do if you were in my shoes?
Note: Currently “chief guy” claims things are very slow and we don’t earn much. But I do not believe him.
