My girlfriend apologized after she knowingly sabotaged my business 2 years ago. She wants to make up for it by doing my SEO.

I’m a designer, and I love to design. I’ve been at it since high school. Now, I mostly do logos and branding. After graduation, I had this dream of having my own business, and I worked hard to get it going. I always delivered on time, and my work was top-notch, so things started rolling pretty quickly.

My girlfriend was always with me. We had been together for 6 years, and I loved her like crazy. But then she started getting jealous (she confessed this the other day) and started sabotaging my business by doing negative SEO, or black hat tactics.

I found out and left her. My friends suggested I sue her, but I just didn’t bother and walked away. Now, after 2 years, I’m back to working on my branding and logo design gigs. She calls me out of nowhere and tells me she can’t move on, begging for my forgiveness. She’s offering to make it up by doing free SEO for as long as I want.

I don’t want anything to do with her anymore, but deep inside, I miss her too. I haven’t dated anyone after her, and I’m still single. But I’m angry and hate what she did.

My friends suggest I just take the free service as payback for what she did, but I’m not sure.

I know this is a strange situation, but right now, I’m torn and hurt.

Just wanted to vent and maybe get some useful advice. I will Appreciate that.
