​Should I call the spouse?

One of my employees was just arrested. I run a small business, and it all happened so quickly. Within just five minutes, someone informed him that he had reportedly hit their car in the parking lot, asked him to come outside, and then they put him in handcuffs and took him away. He left all his belongings here, including his car keys. Should I reach out to his spouse to let them know? Am I allowed to do that?
