My company does video production and a friend of a friend is asking for a video done for pretty much at cost and I would make no profit. The guy is a well connected businessman in my area. His family is pretty wealthy and knows alot of big wigs.

Do you think doing a video for him at a steep discount at cost would benefit me and open my network to connections with deep pockets or do you think I would just be seen as “the cheap video guy”? I don’t really know how business transactions go down amongst country club type folks and if they give each other discounts.
