​I really suck at Sales. A lot.

Maybe this is my mid-life crisis. But then again – I have been thinking about and starting some small business since I was a teen. I finally feel I have something going (it’s like a novelty type thing, geared towards the patriotic American that likes to travel).

I got the idea. I got a machine to make my own inventory. I got all the costs under control and an LLC registered. I got a website with a webstore. Logo, company name, promotional items – you name it. All ready to go.

However, I suck at sales. I really do. Got a Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, but more on the procurement/planning side. I never understood sales or marketing. Every cent I spend on Marketing hurts me mentally, as I am thinking it’s a cent I’ll never see again.

How do some of you Superstars get Sales going? And where? How to advertise for reasonable costs, that turns into Sales? I don’t expect anything crazy, just starting to sell some of my product consistently as a side hussle for now.

I would LOVE to hire some Sales people on commission for example. I would gladly pay people for generating the revenue. I just don’t like to spend hours and hours on GoogleAds or Facebook Ads, knowing I am not only sucky at it, but it also just sucks funds from me with no actual return.

2nd Edit: 11k views in 1 hour. Wow. Thanks to everyone who contributed some pointers for me, I greatly appreciate it! I will go back to the drawing board and come back with a better website. I needed you guys to open my eyes, but now I have some great direction for my next steps.
