I started my service business in 2020 just before the pandemic. It quickly gained traction because it was a great service for families during the pandemic ($120k first year).
I’ve since lost all energy and motivation to keep going. We’ve been acquiring more inventory every year, but sales have stayed in the ballpark every year – no significant growth in revenue (thus, limiting my take home).
I’ve been at this for 4.5 years and though it affords me the opportunity to travel and hire out most of the labor, I just don’t have the excitement towards any part of it.
The online gurus often say that I should be excited and passionate about my business, but not sure if that’s just their way to sell me their coaching products.
Any insights would be appreciated from anyone ahead of me on their entrepreneurship journey.
