I’ve been working in trademark and copyright law for a while now, and it’s insane how tilted the system is in favor of big corporations. Small businesses and creators are constantly getting crushed in legal battles, even when their claims are legitimate. I’ve seen cases where startups lose their entire brand because they can’t afford to fight the legal machine that bigger companies can deploy. And let’s not even talk about how costly and confusing the trademark application process can be for entrepreneurs.
It makes me wonder: Why isn’t more being done to protect small businesses when it comes to intellectual property? Should the legal system prioritize the “little guy” more, or is this just how business works? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this, especially if you’ve had personal experiences or frustrations in this area.
On that note, if anyone’s dealing with these issues and needs advice on trademark or copyright law, feel free to reach out. I’m passionate about helping smaller businesses navigate the process and protect their work.
