I have a wonderful client who’s dog I walk multiple times a week. The dog recently broke a toe and can’t walk for 6 weeks. The owners are wealthy and insist they pay me for the full time he is out. I still feel bad though I could use the money..I walk dogs.. it just feels wrong for some reason. Should I just take the money? I feel almost embarrassed to take it like I wanna be like no no don’t worry about it. But that’s also a spot in my daily schedule that I could fill and I think they know that and that’s why they want to pay, to hold the spot.
