So ive been dealing with the same shop lifter for the past month. He hasn’t been a problem until like a month ago. it’s a small corner shop with a layout that’s frustrating since the register is far from the door and from talking to the regulars and locals, he’s been banned from other stores as well. How do I deal with this? Ive called cops for other shop lifting before and they really dont do anything and just advise us to forget about it ” It’s not worth your life for a pack of donuts “.

Sure a pack of donut is cheap but I dont want our store to become a easy target to them.

Ive shouted at him, told him hes been banned, escorted him out but he comes whenever im busy with other customers and steal little things and im absolutely frustrated.

Note :

• I am a slim girl and the locals think that’s why he keeps coming back during my hours. • Hes only stolen 15$ worth so far. ( Don’t want it to become his habit ) • I normally have no problem catching shop lifters • We only have pepper sprays at the store for our use.
