Hi. I’m running into some problems with payroll for our small business. I’m not super familiar with softwares so we’ve been manually logging payroll in spreadsheets. We’ve been paying everyone directly via bank transfers, Paypal, manual invoices, etc. since, for the time being, all our personnel are based in the US and we have no overseas contractors. But with tax season coming around the corner and our personal/business expenses being more mixed than ever, we want to avoid the same headache since we’ve only added employees to our payroll, so we’re looking to get payroll software to help us run this less manually.

We saw a few demos of ADP, Gusto, Rippling, etc. that all seem to pitch themselves well so we’re a bit torn. It’d be great to get feedback from other small businesses on your experiences and what you guys have used for payroll. It’d be amazing if you could chime in and let me know what tools made all these easier for you. We’re only open to cloud-based solutions only, nothing on-prem, thank you.
