Been running a small vintage clothing setup out of my garage for about a year now, mostly 90s sportswear and random y2k stuff I find locally. its been doing decent enough to cover bills and a bit extra, but I’m stuck at this level and the main problem is sourcing. I rely on 2 local guys and the odd thrift run but its super inconsistent. Some weeks I get great stuff, other weeks its basically nothing sellable. I’ve been thinking about moving into a small retail space or even doing regular pop ups but idk how id keep it stocked without burning out.
I want to expand on online pages like vinted, depop, ebay, I’ve got a good budget I could put into testing new suppliers but Im paranoid about getting scammed or ending up with garbage quality bulk. Already had one bad experience with a “wholesale vintage” seller I found through that was basically fast fashion rejects lol.
How do I end up making my sourcing/supplying more consistent ? (UK based if possible please)
