I’m old school in my 50s running an engineering B2B business. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring a number of early stage entrepreneurs. What i struggle with is they are reluctant to have real conversations with prospective clients, they hide behind digital marketing (which seems to cost a lot but with minimal return) in lieu of the risk of having a interaction with a client, even if it’s rejection. I feel that many a good business is failing because entrepreneurs are scared to have a 1000 rejections to get that one consequential win, that makes everything. Thoughts?
