My dental rep was trying to tell me at end of year I should swap out some of my (perfectly good) dental chairs for new ones (25k a pop) and some new cabinets in my sterilization room. These super basic looking cabinets are nothing special but they cost 10x what Home Depot would charge. Not exaggerating. Prob silly, but I asked him why I should buy ugly white particle board cabinets for 50 grand when I could have custom ones made out of cherry and marble for less.

“Well these have a serial number which makes them medical equipment which allows you to write them all off in one year, lot of people use it to save on taxes”

That’s just one of 5 reps that have dropped tax advice on me.

Like no shite, I could redo my roof every year to save on taxes but why tf would I buy it before it’s needed.

Screw the reps and their polos with Patagonia vests and dress shoes with tennis shoe tread. You all are the same dude with different voice.
