​Client want me to manage his social media but isn’t comfortable giving his details

This client already paid me but when i asked for login details so I could actually manage the account and post things etc. he said he’s not comfortable giving his credentials, am I the only one that thinks that’s ridiculous as they are not even an account with many followers and my job is to grow their followers… l really don’t understand these types of client. Am I wrong? Edit: he doesn’t want to delegate
