​The new, physical book market in 2025 is $44 per American. For my town, that implies a market of $880,000. How do I forecast what I might wrest from Amazon as there’s no other new book stores competing nearby?

The business could survive on a quarter of that with $220,000 in sales.

The proposed location has a couple of heats that make it attractive, lots of foot traffic between restaurants, coffee shops, a senior center, and a non-book clothing and gift shop.
